News on Instagram Stories

At the moment, there are more than 500 million people that use Stories on a daily basis and it was only natural from Instagram to help them communicate with their followers. So what’s new?

1. Instagram Donation stickers

Available only to the US at the moment, Instagram has launched a new sticker to encourage donations to causes or people that matter for their users. So from now on, if you got a cause you support and want others to know about it, just go to the stickers section on Instagram and add the new one describing the cause you are raising money for. All the donations go to the specific cause and you will be able to see the amount of money you have raised by swiping up on the Story.

2. New camera and create mode

During the following weeks, the Instagram camera will be improved by adding new ways of sharing important moments of your lives. You will be able to share without a photo or a video. The new camera will have new effects and stickers that will personalize your experiences.

News for Creators

Creators will have a new way of collaborating with brands by being able to sell products they are wearing or using in their posts or Stories. And followers won’t have to leave Instagram to buy them. It will be that simple!

So instead of asking for the price in a direct message or a comment, when you tap on the post, you’ll see details about the product and will be taken to a page where you can buy it on the spot.

Instagram will begin testing this new feature in the US next week, but it will be available worldwide soon.
