Instagram Content Calendar Could Be a Thing

All the social media managers are, at a certain time, struggling to find the perfect way to schedule posts on the social networks and to easily keep track of what they have posted before.

It seems that Facebook representatives have thought about this as well and started working on Instagram content calendar prototype: to be able to see both the calendar for past posts and for future ones as well.

Instagram Content Calendar

If you want to check if you already have the option, as Ahmed Ghanem, who saw it first does, go to Facebook’s Creator Studio. The option appears on the left hand site of the function bar in the Instagram tab in the app.

What you will find there is a list of all your Instagram posts, with separate icons for different types of posts: single image, carousel, video and all the other options the social network offers.

This new feature not only helps social media managers have an image of what the strategy looks, but can also schedule posts for 6 months in advance from the Creator Studio and also have a clear vision of how the calendar looks right in the native app.

At the moment, you can only post on the Instagram feed and IGTV from the Creator Studio, but it might also be available for Stories as well – yet another awaited moment by all the social media managers worldwide. Still, the calendar in the Creator Studio also shows Stories you have posted in the past. So this might be a sign that better days are coming and Creator Studio is becoming the place to post from instead of the Pages in the main Facebook interface.

It is very good that Facebook tries to come at help with what social media managers are struggling and introduce new features that make their job easier.

What do you think of the new Instagram content calendar option in the Creator Studio? Will you use it? Will it make your life easier?
