Facebook Viewpoints Will Pay for Your Opinion

But only if you are over 18 and live in the US at the moment. They said they would expand Facebook Viewpoints, their newest program we are going to talk about in this article.

Maybe you are part of groups where different opportunities for answering surveys and being paid for doing this were available. But maybe you didn’t trust their viability and never participated in one.

What is Facebook Viewpoints?

So what’s the deal with this Facebook Viewpoints? This is a new program in which Facebook is paying its users to participate in researches, surveys and tasks. They say they are doing this in order to improve technology and its uses.

Their first program is about the well-being that social media brings into its users’ lives and we think it is the best topic to start a new program that focuses on making the world a better place.

How does it work?

How is going Facebook to pay for the work you do?

For each survey, research or task you participate in, you will receive a number of points – depending, we guess, on topics and complexity.

Every 1000 points achieved mean 5$ which will be transferred to your PayPal account. So what’s important before enrolling in Facebook Viewpoint is having a valid PayPal account.

After you created the account, the next step would be downloading the app from Google Play or App Store. Once you did this step, you will receive invitations to join different programs and, depending on what you are interested in, start joining them.

Facebook representatives say that they have started this program in order to create better apps and services that would benefit the community and what a better way to get insights on how they can do this than directly from the people that use them on a daily basis?

But is there some catch with Facebook paying you for your answers? How will they use your data? Those are the questions to be answered.
