Starting today (June 12, 2013) Facebook finally introducing Hashtag after some rumored back in March.
Facebook Hastags are similar to other services like Google+, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Vine and will allow you to add context to your post or to indicate that it’s a part of a discussion. If you click a facebook hashtag, you will see a feed of what other people (or pages) are saying about that topic.
As Facebook said on their newsroom post today about Facebook Hashtags, now you can:
“- Search for a specific hashtag from your search bar. For example, #NBAFinals.
– Click on hashtags that originate on other services, such as Instagram.
– Compose posts directly from the hashtag feed and search results.”
Where do you use hashtags, more often: Twitter, Vine, Google+, Instagram, Tumblr or Pinterest?
